Understanding How FFO Works

Fisherman's Factory Outlet gives you deeply discounted fishing products. (FFO prices are routinely 40% or more below manufacturer suggested retail prices.) All prices are stated in U.S. dollars.

We only offer the highest quality, name brand merchandise. FFO can deliver these low prices by specializing in overstocks and close-out items. Because FFO is a true factory outlet, we don't offer every product every day. That's why it's so important to visit frequently. Our inventory is always changing.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

Shopping online is virtually the same as shopping in a physical store. Browse through the FFO Hot Deals and the rest of our inventory. Whenever you see an item you want to buy, simply click on the "Add To Cart" button. The item will then be added to your shopping cart. To change the quantity of a product in your shopping cart, enter the desired quantity in the appropriate box and click on the "Update Contents" button. You may continue shopping by clicking on the "Home" button or proceed to the Check Out section.

Finding What You Want

The FFO inventory is changing everyday. That's why we've made it as easy as possible to search our store and find what you want. Here's how it works. On the left side of every page is a product menu. Click the "Show All" button to see all available FFO products, or click the product category you're interested in. For example, if you choose rods, the types of rods available - spinning, casting, fly and specialty - will be displayed. Select a type and all of the rods that are in stock will appear in a list. Each name will link to a detail page. The detail page will show a large photo of the product along with a detailed description. At this step, you will have the opportunity to add the product to your shopping cart.

Avoiding Back Orders

You never have to worry about items being out of stock when you buy from the Fisherman's Factory Outlet. FFO sets aside a specific number of items that will only be sold online. Look for the inventory number under any of the Hot Deals on the Home Page or on any detail page. This number is "live", which means it is updated as soon as someone adds that product to his shopping cart. If you try to order more than are available, we will alert you. But be forewarned! When the number available hits zero, that item is automatically pulled from the FFO store. In other words, you better buy today or it may be gone tomorrow!

Reviewing Your Order

At any time you may click on the "Shopping Cart" button and review your order. The Shopping Cart button lets you view a complete list of what you've ordered: which items, how many, their individual cost and a sub-total. If you're ready to purchase your order, proceed through the check out process.

Completing Your Registration

We need to know who you are and where you want your purchase sent. That's why shoppers must register before they are able to buy anything from FFO. You only need to register once. New shoppers can register on the Home Page or during the check out process. Your name and address is safe with FFO. We will NOT sell it to any outside company. And your credit card numbers are safe with FFO. For your security they are encrypted with the latest technology.

Completing Your Order

You're done shopping. Now it's time to check out. First you will have the chance to confirm (and modify if necessary) your personal information. This includes shipping and billing addresses. Next you will need to choose a shipping method. FFO uses FedEx shipping for all orders to U.S. locations and Parcel Post for all orders to Canadian locations. For FedEx orders (U.S. customers), your choice of delivery speed will affect the shipping charges applied to your bill.

Now you can see your final bill. Product costs, tax and shipping are added together into a total charge. At this point you will enter your credit card information and hit "Finish Order". Please remember, all online transactions are encrypted and secure for your protection.

Confirming Your Order

Immediately after you submit your order to FFO, we verify the credit card information and bill your account. Next your order proceeds to our warehouse where it will be filled and shipped. At the same time you will receive a confirmation message from us. We want you to know your order has been received. We'll also give you an order number. Write the number down and file it away. You will need it if there is any future problem with your order.
